The transformed former Wickman's department store situated in East London's Mile End into 21st century office space. With commercial space and mixed use space ranging from 9,418-55,024 Ft². A building with a rich history loving and carefully restored by Buckley Grey Yeoman.
The client was keen to show the scale of the spaces also the historic details such at the domed glass windows of the upper levels. Key aspects that form part of the quirky identity to this iconic space at the heart of East London.
As part of the process of developing the CGI's for the spaces several options for each office were put forward. The scale of the spaces meant that multiple views were required per floor to show the full extent of transformation.
A series of vignettes offer a glimpse at the level of detail around the scheme developed by architects and clients. Preserve the features of this historic East London department store as the site is transformed to a multi purpose office and commercial space.
